By purchasing, downloading or using any NOHO digital product (including plans, specifications, configurator outputs and PDF packages), you agree to the following terms.

Licence

• All NOHO digital products are licensed for use on a single project at a single site by the original purchaser.
• Redistribution, resale, sub-licensing, sharing or reuse of plans, specifications or configurator outputs on additional projects is not permitted.
• All intellectual property in NOHO plans, drawings, specifications, configurator logic and supporting documents remains the property of NOHO at all times.

Client responsibility

• The client is responsible for verifying that the selected plan, layout and specifications are suitable for their intended site, use and budget.
• Council or territorial authority approval is not guaranteed and is dependent on site-specific conditions and local requirements.
• Project-specific engineering, geotechnical, survey or producer statements may still be required in addition to NOHO documents.
• All construction work must comply with the New Zealand Building Code and any other applicable statutes, regulations and standards.
• Engaged Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs), designers, engineers and trades remain responsible for compliance, installation, supervision and certification of any work carried out.

Liability

• NOHO accepts no liability for incorrect installation, site-specific conditions, third-party workmanship, consent outcomes or any consequential loss arising from use of its digital products.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOHO's total liability is limited to the price paid for the relevant digital product.

Refunds

Because NOHO products are digital and delivered immediately, refunds are not generally available once a download or configurator output has been issued. Refund requests are considered on a discretionary basis where a clear product fault exists.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

• NOHO documents are preliminary specification and design packages intended to support early-stage planning and discussion.
• Documents are not issued for construction unless a revision is specifically marked as such in writing by NOHO.
• Site-specific review by suitably qualified professionals may still be required before construction.
• Additional engineering, geotechnical, survey, drainage or services information may be required to complete a consentable or buildable set.
• Territorial authorities may request further information, amendments or supporting documentation as part of any consent or exemption process.
• Specifications, materials, finishes and details may change during the consent and documentation stages.
• NOHO does not guarantee Schedule 1A exemption approval or any other consent or exemption outcome.
• The owner, builder, designer, engineer and other engaged professionals remain responsible for compliance with the New Zealand Building Code and all other applicable requirements.

NOHO respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the principles of the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Information we collect

• Names, email addresses and contact details you provide.
• Project selections, configurator inputs and order information.
• Basic technical information required to operate the website (such as session and security data).

How we use it

• To deliver the digital products and configurator outputs you have requested.
• To administer orders, provide support and communicate about your project.
• To improve our products, website and customer experience.

How we protect it

• Information is stored in secure, access-controlled systems and is only accessed by authorised NOHO personnel and trusted service providers.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
• We retain personal information only for as long as required for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To make a privacy request, please contact NOHO via the contact page.

The following notices apply to all PDF documents, configurator outputs and specification packages issued by NOHO.

• Preliminary Specification Package — issued for early-stage design, costing and discussion purposes.
• Not for construction unless accompanied by a matching numbered NOHO specification sheet issued for the same project.
• All construction must be completed using the latest matching plan set and specification package.
• Every NOHO project is issued under a shared document number in the format NOHO-YYYY-NNNN. The plan set and specification sheet are only valid together when their NOHO document numbers match exactly.
• Generated for a single client and a single project; not transferable to other sites or projects.
• Subject to manufacturer requirements, current product availability and installation instructions.
• Subject to council, consultant, engineering and producer statement review.
• Revision number, issue date and NOHO document number shown on each document apply; always work from the latest issued revision.
